LSUA is a public university committed to student success and providing a rich academic experience to individuals seeking an associate or baccalaureate degree. Currently the department is seeking energetic nurse educator experienced in online teaching for the RN-BSN Program. Professional experience in leadership, research, and care of the older adult is preferred.
Job Summary RN-BSN: This individual is responsible for online teaching in RN-BSN program. The candidate would be responsible for course instruction online and must be committed to providing a learning environment for students that promotes academic success.
Qualifications:
鈥� PhD or DNP in Nursing
鈥� Minimum 3 years clinical practice
鈥� Experience teaching online
鈥� Unencumbered RN License from a compact state

LSUA employs different types of personnel on campus, including:
Faculty Members - Members of the academic staff holding rank of instructor or above and equivalent ranks. Faculty may be 9 month or 12 month employees and they may teach and/or do research.
Professional Employees - Administrative officers and professional staff that are generally exempt from the provisions of the State Civil Service System. This category is formerly referred to as Unclassified Employees.
Classified Employees - Employees in positions covered by the provisions of Louisiana State Civil Service System.
Other Academic Employees - Part-time members of the academic staff or full-time members of instructional or research staff below the rank of Instructor. Examples are part-time instructors, teaching or research associates,
library associates, lecturers, etc.
